I have had a passion for film for most of my life. I have recently begun to study the process of good and effective visual storytelling through my personal film elective.
Through my most recent short films, I have gained a greater understanding of visual pacing, rhythm, sound design, and effective graphic titles. As I develop my skills as a video editor, I find myself enjoying the process more and more.
When I applied for my minor in graphic design, I intended to expand my skillset and understanding of space, color theory, and typography.
I credit my minor as a huge turning point in my career, bringing new life and energy to my work. I have a fondness for thoughtful and beautiful graphic design and type, and advocate that anyone with a front-facing art/design career learn about using type effectively.
On this page you will see my graphic design work for myself and others as I apply a love of bold forms and colors to create eye-catching images that help to tell engaging stories.
